Prodigi Group is seeking a Production & Facility Manager to help set-up and operate our second UK manufacturing facility located in Alton, Hampshire.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the printing industry, preferably wide format and/or photo gift related sectors and be comfortable working in a software-oriented manufacturing business.
You will be responsible for helping launch the new UK factory; overseeing all production and dispatch as well as assisting in hiring your own production team to help scale-up operations.
Reporting directly to the Group’s board, you will be entrusted with a high degree of independence and have a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact towards the growth of the business.
Prodigi Group is a technology and manufacturing business specialising in the creation and fulfilment of high-volume, customised products. We help companies selling personalised products to simplify their supply-chains and maximise their profits.
We are opening a new UK facility in order to cope with rapid growth and to improve our manufacturing production times.
Our Alton facility is due to be operational Q3, 2018 and will initially focus on the production of print on demand posters, art and photo prints along with framed products. Other personalised printed merchandise are expected to be rolled out during the following 12 months.
Oversee all product printing, production, packing and shipping;
Manage & coordinate all production processes;
Ensure the smooth running and operation of the factory;
Be responsible for future team recruitment although assistance will be provided for the initial staffing needs;
Develop staff within the team; overseeing all training and staff appraisals in coordination with our HR support;
Ensure a safe working environment for all team members;
Coordinate and facilitate client visits in conjunction with our EU & UK sales teams;
Be an allrounder; comfortable doing whatever it takes to ensure the factory and your team are able to stay motivated and perform to their best.

At least 3-5 years of relevant managerial experience, ideally within a print / manufacturing environment;
Proven experience recruiting, training and managing production teams;
Advanced project management skills; Strong competency using print hardware and software;
What we provide
Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
