Job description

About Prodigi

Prodigi is the world’s most globally connected print-on-demand platform.

We help businesses scale at speed, simplify their supply chains and maximise their profits by giving them the tools to print any image onto any physical product and ship it to anywhere in the world. Supported by a global fulfilment network, we’re integrated with more than 50 print labs in over 10 countries – including four in-house manufacturing facilities in the UK, EU and US. To date, we have produced over 30 million items shipped to 200 countries around the world.

Founded in 2014, we pride ourselves on making our clients successful and recently ranked 14th in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 – an annual league table recognising the UK’s fastest-growing companies. We’re customer-focused, restlessly innovative and quality-obsessed. As the demand for our software continues to grow, you’ll get to work with everyone from artists and photographers to bands and major brands.

Role description

Our Product and Engineering division is currently made up of cross-functional product teams, all working to empower clients using our e-commerce applications, fulfilment API and global network of print labs.

Your role would be to become the product manager of our Commerce team. This team is responsible for our consumer-facing products, such as our Shopify app, that enable our users to be successful.

We are currently planning ahead to our next exciting chapter in this space and are looking for a talented and enthusiastic product manager to successfully lead the team through this. You’ll be working closely with the wider product and engineering team to understand and refine what this next chapter looks like, coordinating the Commerce team to deliver the best possible results. Identifying opportunities and then preparing and refining development cycle bets is a key aspect of the role.

Our product development process, inspired by Basecamp’s Shape Up, consists of making bets in six-week delivery cycles. As a product manager, you will be responsible for working with your team and wider stakeholders to shape and prioritise these bets through discovery, identifying outcomes and using data to identify clear success metrics that ensure we are constantly moving forward with each cycle.

You will help to develop our product strategy, build and maintain the product roadmap, develop pitches ahead of new development cycles, and act as the 'face' of the platform, both internally and externally, regularly communicating with users and stakeholders to best understand their needs.

Requirements

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Define a clear, compelling and ambitious product vision and strategy
  • Build a strong understanding of the product and the company
  • Discover and prepare suitable product pitches that deliver toward the product vision
  • Set clear goals for the team
  • Build in-depth knowledge of current and potential users and stakeholders, balancing their needs and communicating effectively between them.
  • Identify, measure, track and report product and feature metrics.
  • Proactively communicate and build relationships inside and outside the team
  • Lead team in prioritising work with occasionally ambiguous and competing demands.
  • Being the voice of the company to your development team, helping to document requirements and bring your vision to life.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3 or more years of experience as a product manager in a consumer-facing environment.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms is desirable, particularly in the print on demand industry.
  • A tendency towards action. You’re comfortable with making and learning from mistakes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. With much of the company remote, effective communication is vital.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary, £56k+, depending on experience.
  • You will have 25 days of holiday per year plus one day off for your birthday.
  • Option of purchasing an extra 10 days' holidays
  • Flexible hours and flexible working location, work from home or the office, your choice.
  • Spec your own machine and working environment.
  • Company Pension 3% employer contribution, 5% employee
  • Health care cash plan
  • Cycle to work and tech purchase schemes
  • A charity day per year to volunteer at a recognised charity
  • We believe in equal opportunity and value diversity. We believe that varied perspectives, experiences and backgrounds lead to a workplace that's better for everyone.
