Qualified Management Accountant for a global print-on-demand business. Month-end, business partnering, ERP and automation across multiple entities and currencies. Remote UK, £58,000–£68,000

Job description

About Us

Prodigi is the leading global print-on-demand platform, enabling entrepreneurs, ecommerce merchants and businesses to scale through streamlined supply chains and a network of more than 100 production facilities across over a dozen countries, including four of our own in the UK, USA and the Netherlands. Any image, any product, shipped anywhere.

Founded in 2014, Prodigi has previously ranked 14th in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 of the UK's fastest-growing companies.

The role

We are looking for a commercially focused Management Accountant to join our growing international business.

It is a hands-on role across both financial reporting and operational finance. Working closely with the Head of Finance and with operational teams, you will produce the numbers, explain them to people who do not think in numbers, and help improve the systems and processes that produce them.

The remit is deliberately broad. Prodigi operates across multiple entities, currencies and jurisdictions, with manufacturing and inventory across the group, so you will need to be comfortable moving between detailed financial work and the wider commercial picture.

Job requirements

What you'll do

Reporting and close

  • Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and clear, business-friendly commentary

  • Lead and refine the month-end close process

  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning

Business partnering

  • Work alongside operational teams to provide financial insight that drives better decisions

  • Analyse cost and product data to inform investment decisions

  • Help leaders understand performance, opportunities and risks

Finance operations and systems

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations across AP, AR, inventory and revenue recognition

  • Improve how we use our ERP and other finance systems for reporting, controls and more efficient ways of working

  • Spot opportunities to automate and simplify finance processes, including using AI tools where they genuinely improve the work, while maintaining appropriate controls

Foundations

  • Safeguard data integrity and internal controls

  • Support year-end audit, statutory reporting, regulatory filings and tax submissions

  • Research technical accounting matters and keep us aligned with standards

  • Document business processes and accounting policies as we scale

  • Provide payroll reconciliation cover across our entities

  • Support the Head of Finance on financial risk management

What we're looking for

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

  • Around 5+ years in accounting and finance, ideally including at least 3 years in a management or financial accounting role

Experience

  • Strong experience running month-end and producing management accounts

  • Hands-on experience with a mid-market ERP. We use NetSuite, but experience with Business Central, Sage Intacct, SAP Business One, Oracle Fusion or similar is also relevant

  • Experience supporting more than one entity, across more than one jurisdiction

  • An SME background with a broad remit across reporting, financial operations and systems

  • Confident across AP/AR, stock and revenue flows

  • Solid grounding in accounting principles and preparing financial statements

  • Exposure to e-commerce, drop shipping, manufacturing or other inventory-led businesses is a real bonus

Toolkit

  • Strong Excel and Power Query skills, and confident across the wider Microsoft suite

  • System-agnostic, and either already using AI tools day to day or keen to learn. We are an AI-first business and you will be excited about developing your skills and experience in this area.

How you work

  • Analytical and detail-focused, with the bigger picture in mind

  • Proactive: you identify problems and bring potential solutions

  • Comfortable working independently within a small team

  • Able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues and build trusted relationships across the business

Working here

The finance team works remotely, with occasional days together at one of our UK offices, typically around once a month.

  • 25 days' leave plus a day off for your birthday, with the option to purchase 10 additional days

  • Flexible working hours

  • Company pension: 4% employer and 5% employee contribution

  • Healthcare plan

  • Cycle to work scheme

  • Tech purchase programme

  • One charity day each year

Prodigi is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion.
