Requirements

Your Role:

As the company’s Accounts Assistant, you will work in a small team with day-to-day responsibility of all areas of finance processing and assisting with the accounts.

This is a hybrid remote role with a requirement to be in the Tilford office (GU10 2DZ). Public transport is not available so you must possess the ability to travel to the office as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data entry on accounting system (NetSuite)
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Posting and reconciling credit card reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier and customer e-mails
  • Purchase invoice processing and organising payment of suppliers
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Creating sales invoices and processing customer payments online
  • Reconciling and posting a high volume of customer receipts
  • General support to the finance team of a growing business with ongoing projects.

Skills and Experience

  • Highly numerate and organised
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with a range of suppliers, customers, and colleagues
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage own workload
  • Previous experience in a similar accounts role although training will be provided
